Dr. Alison Riley
- A 1997 Graduate of Iowa State University Alison is a native Dubuquer who returned after receipt of her DVM. She has special interest in exotic care, small animal endoscopic services and internal medicine. Dr. Riley purchased the clinic in 1999 and hopes to continue to foster the reputation cultivated by Dr. Haupert of excellent customer service and patient care in a comfortable atmosphere.

 

Dr. Robin Mundt
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Robin Mundt is a recent graduate of Iowa State University. If Dr. Mundt looks familiar, it is because she has worked for the company since high school. During her time away at Iowa State, Robin has married and recently had a daughter. She has an interest in many aspects of veterinary medicine including surgery, shelter medicine, and equine work. Robin spends most of her free time with her family and also has many pets including several horses, dogs, cats, a goat, and her daughter's pony. She looks forward to meeting the new clients and catching up with those she hasn't seen in a while.

 


Amanda Craven
Daycare Provider - Amanda is a high school graduate who heads up our daycare program. She has the best job here, getting to play with puppies and dogs all day! She loves all animals and has 2 dogs and 2 ferrets of her own. We are happy to have her aboard the team and look forward to her developing well socialized dogs.

 

Angel Spahn
Kennel Attendant/Veterinary Assistant - Angel is from Dubuque and is a graduate of Senior High School. She has 2 birds, 3 dogs, 3 cats a guinea pig and still going. Angel is also engaged and will soon have 10 year old step son. She enjoys spending time with family, friends and being outdoors. Angel has decided to undergo more schooling to become a veterinary assistant and is serving an internship here at PetMed in addition to her regular duties.

 

Danielle Allen
Receptionist/Deputy Office Manager - Danielle is a Hempstead High School graduate and a prospective veterinary technician student. She enjoys going to car shows with her boyfriend Shaun and spending time with her family. She has three kids (cats) Wrigley, Suki and Paris; and they are as spoiled as they come and has added 3 dogs to the family. Danielle is very excited to get to know the PetMed family and the clients. She brings with her excellent customer service skills and a smile!

 

Janet Smith, CVT
Quality Assurance Manager / Vet Tech - Janet functions as the Veterinary Technician in charge of animal care and technical assistance. In this capacity, she supervises boarding and grooming care as well as medical and surgical operations. Janet is a Sherrill, IA native who has been with the company 15 years.

 

Lindsay Losh
Professional Groomer - Lindsay has been grooming animals since the age of sixteen when she began showing dogs and horses. She owns many breeds of dogs and shares her home with many dogs owned by others. Lindsay not only grooms, but trains and shows in her spare time as well. Lindsay started with Whippets, the breeders of which then taught her much of what she knows today. Lindsay looks forward to meeting all of the PetMed clients.

 

Marlena Cady
Receptionist - Marlena is a native Dubuquer who now resides in Dyersville with her husband, Dustin, and son Ayden. She has a love for animals and has her own personal zoo at home. This includes two dogs, a cat, an African Grey, a snake and two horses. Marlena enjoys outdoor activities like horseback riding and camping. She is very excited to be a part of the PetMed team and to meet all the great clients.

 

Nikki Maiers
Veterinary Technician - Nikki is a 2007 graduate from the Veterinary Technician program at Kirkwood College. She grew up in and lives in rural Holy Cross, IA. She has 4 dogs and 3 cats at home. She is excited to further her knowledge in the exotic aspect of veterinary medicine, and can't wait to meet all of the clients and pets here at PetMed!

 

Rachel Kaiser
Office Manager - Rachel started off as a receptionist and has worked her way up to our Office Manager. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has two dogs, Kobe and Shadow, and one cat. She likes playing softball, playing cards, & watching football and baseball. She brings with her great customer service skills, patience, and a friendly demeanor. She looks forward to continuing to serve and help the customers with what ever needs they may have.

 

Tracy Freiburger
Kennel Manager/Veterinary Assisstant - As kennel manager for 7 years, Tracy contiues to show a great personality and is very compassionate. She is responsible for basic animal care during boarding, grooming and routine medical operations. The animals receive attention and true entertainment from Tracy during their stay. Tracy was promoted in 2002 to veterinary assistant due to skills and abilities. She has shown great poise and promise and we hope to continue to foster her skills.
