Dr. Alison Johnson
Veterinarian/ Practice Owner - A 1997 Graduate of Iowa State University Alison is a native Dubuquer who returned after receipt of her DVM. She has special interest in exotic care, small animal endoscopic services and internal medicine. Dr. Johnson purchased the clinic in 1999, striving to offer new services and technology in the changing landscape of modern veterinary medicine.

 

Dr. Robin Mundt
Associate Veterinarian - Dr. Robin Mundt is a recent graduate of Iowa State University. If Dr. Mundt looks familiar, it is because she has worked for the company since high school. She has an interest in many aspects of veterinary medicine including surgery, shelter medicine, and equine work. She looks forward to meeting the new clients and catching up with those she hasn't seen in a while.

 

 


Angel Spahn
Veterinary Assistant - Angel is a Dubuque native and a graduate of Senior High School. She has also completed coursework and an internship to become our full time veterinary assistant. Angel is responsible for daily patient care and providing assistance in procedures both medical and surgical.

 

Carmen Steiner, CVT
Veterinary Technician - Carmen is a native of Hazel Green, WI and is a graduate from the Kirkwood College Veterinary Technician program. She is responsible for all aspects of animal medical treatment, surgical care, diagnostic testing and post surgical recovery. Carmen always has a smile on her face and takes pride in the care she provides for others pet's.

 

Janet Smith, CVT
Veterinary Technician - Janet serves as the lead technician and has been with PetMed for more than 15 years. Janet is responsible for all aspects of animal medical treatment, surgical care, diagnostic testing and post surgical recovery. In addition to her technical skills, she is an accomplished cat groomer.

 

Kat Marner
Kennel Attendant - Kat is responsible for the day to day caring of our boarding animals at PetMed. She feeds, exercises, and spoils all animals that are staying with us while their owner's are away. Kat has several years experience with animals, so rest assured, that when your pet is staying with us, Kat will treat them as an extension of her own family and take very good care of them.

 

Lindsay Losh
Professional Groomer - Lindsay has been grooming animals since the age of sixteen and produces professional as well as beautiful results. Her unique method of double bathing and force drying leaves animals soft, clean and devoid of the extra dead hairs responsible for shedding. Lindsay recommends an animal be groomed every 3 months for best results.
